Mrs. DOUGLAS was 89 years of age on the 8th of last July. She had been confined to her bed fourteen and a half months immediately following a fall by which she was seriously injured. Its effects together with the infirmities of advanced age were the contributing causes of her demise.

Her marriage to John DOUGLAS was in February, 1882. He died in 1898.

There survive the children, Wm F. HOLCOMB, of St. Joseph, Mo., and Mrs. W. B. JOHNSON, Belvidere; four grandchildren, Fred M. HOLCOMB, Harold H. JOHNSON, Helen JOHNSON and Foster JOHNSON and four great grandchildren, Elizabeth John JOHNSON, Wm. F. HOLCOMB, Edith JOHNSON and Rachel Ellen JOHNSON. A daughter Louise M.
