D. W. Gates

Belvidere Northwestern newspaper, Boone Co., IL 7 November 1885

Mr. D.W. GATES of the town of Spring died Tuesday night, Nov. 3rd. The funeral took place Thursday afternoon at 1 o’clock from the South Side Methodist church, Rev. S.H. Swartz officiating. Mr. GATES had been suffering from nervous prostration for several years, and his death was the result of paralysis.
