Mrs. James c. DOUGLAS, aged 72, and a former resident of Capron, died at her home in Beloit, Thursday. She had been a sufferer from heart trouble for some time and this ailment caused her death. Her husband died in Beloit Nov. 20.

Mary Smith DOUGLAS was born in Scotland, June 19, 1854. When only two years old she came to this country with her parents who settled in Chicago where she grew to womanhood. Her parents later moved to Capron and there she met and later married Jas. DOUGLAS of Patterson, N.J.
